Before using Moneon, you are required to familiarize yourself with the Terms of Service (the "ToS") and this Privacy Policy (the "Policy"). The Policy forms an integral part of the ToS, and all definitions and names shall have the respective meanings defined therein. By downloading, installing, using or otherwise accessing Moneon, you express your acceptance of, and willingness to be bound by, the ToS, including this Policy. You may not use Moneon if you do not accept the ToS.
If you want to access the features of the Moneon application, you must sign up, and your personal data will be processed. In order to use Moneon, you are required to confirm your acceptance of the ToS, including this Policy, by selecting "I agree to the Terms of Service" when you create an account (the "Sign Up" process) in the application.
Personal Data Processing
You agree that your personal data — including your first name, last name, e-mail address, IP address, personal financial information (income and expenses) and location (collectively referred to as "Personal Data") — may be processed by Moneon (the "Administrator"). The Administrator acts as the personal data controller.
You agree that you provide all your Personal Data voluntarily. However, the provision of Personal Data is required for signing up and for the proper functioning of some Moneon features and related services.
You agree to provide accurate, truthful and current Personal Data and to keep it up to date.
Purpose of the Processing
The purpose of processing your Personal Data under this Policy lies mainly in setting up and maintaining your Moneon account and enabling features such as server synchronization or sharing your content with other users based on your decision. However, the Administrator may also process your Personal Data to communicate with you, extract anonymous data, provide you with personalized financial advice or commercial offers, for marketing and advertising purposes, or in order to improve your experience and further develop Moneon.
Term of the Processing
Personal Data is processed under this Policy while you use your Moneon account and until your consent to the processing is withdrawn and the account is deleted.
Transfers and Disclosures
Your Personal Data may be processed on the Administrator's behalf by third parties, but only for the purposes specified in this Policy, on the basis of a written agreement and under statutory and legal conditions.
The Administrator does not transfer or disclose your Personal Data to third parties other than appointed data processors, unless you have agreed otherwise under this Policy or except as required by applicable law.
Sharing your Personal Data with other users of Moneon is entirely under your control.
Information, Correction and Deletion
You hereby acknowledge that you are entitled to withdraw your consent to the processing of your Personal Data at any time, and that you have the right to access, correct or delete your Personal Data, or to have it removed if it is misleading. Furthermore, you are entitled to contact the Administrator in writing with any complaint concerning the processing of your Personal Data and, if you are dissatisfied with the response, to consult the competent data protection authority in your jurisdiction. Your consent to the processing of your Personal Data may be withdrawn only by sending written notice to the Administrator's address or e-mail. If your consent to the processing of your Personal Data is withdrawn, the Administrator will delete your Moneon account, with the consequences set out in the ToS.
Communication and Offers
You hereby agree that the Administrator may use the Personal Data you provide to send commercial offers and communications regarding Moneon, related services, or the services of business partners associated with the Administrator. You may withdraw this consent at any time by switching off the "Promo offers" section in the Moneon application (Application → Settings → Profile Settings → E-mail notifications).
Technical and Anonymous Data
You hereby agree that the Administrator may collect and use technical data, including but not limited to information about your mobile device and system, your Internet connection and your use of the Moneon application. The purpose of collecting technical data is to ensure quality, increase your comfort, and further analyze and develop Moneon and related services. You also agree that the Administrator may anonymize your Personal Data where possible and use the anonymous data at its sole discretion for any purpose, particularly for creating anonymous analyses and statistics. Both technical and anonymous data are stored separately from Personal Data and cannot be linked back to you in any way that would identify you.
Data Breach Notification
If the Administrator learns of a breach of its security systems, it may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. The Administrator may post a notice on moneon.co if a security breach occurs. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach in writing. To receive free written notice of a security breach (or to withdraw your consent to receiving electronic notice), please notify us at contact@moneon.co.
