Moneon Website Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the moneon.co website — the home page and help center — collects and what happens to it. The Moneon apps for iPhone and Android have their own policy, available in the app and on its App Store and Google Play pages.

Who we are

The website is run by Moneon. For any question about your data, write to support@moneon.co.

What the website receives on every visit

When you open a page, your browser sends the server some technical details: your IP address, the time of the request, the page address, and your browser and device type. A page cannot be delivered without them. The server records these details in a log to keep the site running and protect it from attacks. Logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.

On your first visit, the website asks whether it may count visits with Google Analytics.

If you choose "Accept", the website loads Google Analytics. It sets the _ga and _ga_… cookies to tell a returning visit from a new one, and sends Google the pages you open and how you use them (for example, whether you scroll to the end and which links you follow), where you came from, your language, device and browser type, and approximate country and city. The website also records clicks on the "Download" button and the App Store and Google Play buttons. We only see aggregated reports and use them to decide what to improve. Google Analytics advertising features are turned off: the data is not used for ads and is not linked to your Google account.
If you choose "Decline", Google Analytics is not loaded: no requests go to Google and no cookies are set. Every page works the same.

The website remembers your choice in your browser (in local storage, under consent) so it does not ask again. The light or dark theme you pick is kept there too, under theme. These records are not sent anywhere.

Changed your mind? Click "Analytics settings" at the bottom of any page. The website will erase your choice and the Google Analytics cookies, stop counting and ask again. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings.

Google processes this data on its own servers, including outside your country, under its own policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

When you write to us

If you email support@moneon.co, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply and help you. Support conversations are handled in Zendesk.

What the website does not do

The website does not ask you to sign up and does not collect your name, phone number or payment details. We do not sell visitor data or share it for advertising.

Your questions and requests

You can ask what data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Write to support@moneon.co and we will reply within 7 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
